Nemanja Milenković was born on October 6, 1977. year in Novi Sad, where he finished elementary, high school and college. For more than two decades, he has been creating and nurturing recognizable brands in Novi Sad, Vojvodina and Serbia.

With his formal education, he combined the humanities (Basic Studies of History at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad) with applied science (Master of Industrial Management at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad).

He practically applied his knowledge through branding in the field of creative industries: radio, television, advertising, marketing, public relations, education, social responsibility.

He gained professional experience in the mentioned areas on local, regional and national radio and TV stations as a journalist, presenter and host, and then as the first and youngest director of the provincial public service (Radio Television of Vojvodina). In advertising agencies, he worked as a copywriter, account and project manager, sales director, marketing director and creative director, participating in the formation of many brands. As a public relations manager for Southeast Europe at Mercator, and at the international music festivals Big Snow Kop and EXIT, he completed his rich experience gained through various levels of organizations: from small and medium enterprises to large companies and corporations in the public and private sectors.

As the President of the Board of EXIT Foundation since 2013, covering the sectors of social responsibility and marketing, he participated in the largest and most significant development and expansion of one of the most important Serbian brands – EXIT.

In 2014, he launched an initiative for Novi Sad to run for the European Youth Capital, and the following year, in 2015, he was appointed president of the Organizing Committee for Novi Sad’s candidacy for European Capital of Culture.

Thanks to that, in 2016, Novi Sad became the first city in Europe to win both prestigious titles in one year: the Youth Capital of Europe in 2019 and the European Capital of Culture in 2021.

Nemanja Milenković lives and works in Novi Sad. He is married and has two children.
